CONDUCT - Work

Almighty God, may I understand that it is Your will that by my doing good, I should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men.  1 Peter 2:13
Spirit of Truth, please convict me of where any work or achievements of mine spring from envy of others.  Ecclesiastes 4:4
Forgive me Lord for having pride which is precious to me. Please change me so that my heart may not be proud, looking to overly ambitious things - concerning myself with great matters, or things too wonderful, or unrealistic for me. But, may I be still and quieten my soul, and become secure and content within.  Psalm 131:1-2
Almighty God, may Your eyes keep watch over the knowledge I am studying, so that You may be pleased.  Proverbs 22:12
I ask Father God, that whatever my hands find to do, I do so with all my might.  Ecclesiastes 9:10
LORD, may I not toil in vain.  Isaiah 65:23
Holy Spirit, please show me where I have undue regard and admiration for my own works so that I may repent. May I no longer bow down to the work of my hands and success (as if it were an idol – giving it as much venerance and regard as if it were a small god).  Micah 5:13
Grant me the grace to believe that better one handful with tranquillity than two handfuls with toil.  Ecclesiastes 4:6
Holy Spirit, please enable me to show more of the aroma of Christ in my area of study.  2 Corinthians 2:15
LORD, would You command a blessing on all that I put my hand to in this project, so that I may honour You. Thank You.  Deuteronomy 28:8
