CONDUCT - Work

Lord, sometimes I am afraid that when my work colleagues and I meet, I may not find them as I want them to be, and they may not find me as they want me to be. I fear that there may be quarrelling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, gossip, arrogance and even disorder. I am afraid that You God, will humble me before them and I will be grieved over our many sins. Please give me integrity, Lord, in my places of work.  2 Corinthians 12:20-21 Matthew 22:16
Holy Spirit, please enable me to show more of the aroma of Christ in my work place.  2 Corinthians 2:15
I want to make it my ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind my own business and to work with my own hands; Please teach me how to do this so that my daily life may win the respect of outsiders, and so that I will not be dependent on any body.  1 Thessalonians 4:11-12
Lord, please help me to be very careful how I live, not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.  Ephesians 5:15-16
Holy Spirit, please help me to recognise the devil's schemes in my employment.  Ephesians 6:11
Sovereign Lord, may I not be afraid but know that I am in the place where You intended me to be. May I accomplish good with what is now being done in my life.  Genesis 50:19-20
Would You please protect me from carrying out plans that are not Yours LORD, and forming any alliances that are not by Your Spirit.  Isaiah 30:1 2 Corinthians 10:5
I choose in the midst of this work situation to say, “LORD arise, be exalted and lifted up above my desires”.  Isaiah 33:10 Matthew 6:10
Father God, thank You those who put their hope in You will not be disappointed. I put my hope in You in this matter.  Isaiah 49:23
Holy Spirit, please help me not to be complacent about praying for protection for my employment. May I diligently guard the fortress, watch the road, brace myself, and marshal all my strength to provide for mine, and others, needs.  Nahum 2:1 1 Peter 5:8
