Dear God, I want Your love to be made complete in me.  1 John 4:12
Lord, please help me to stop being a people-pleaser, and begin to only look to You, to bring Your righteousness to me.  Galatians 1:10 Isaiah 46:13
O Lord, please give me grace to hold on to the good.  1 Thessalonians 5:21
Holy Spirit, would You please teach me as one of Your people how to distinguish between the unclean and the clean on the screen, and to switch off without hesitation.  Ezekiel 44:23
Lord, please enable me to not judge situations by what my eyes see, nor decide by what I hear.  Isaiah 11:3
I want to practice the religion that You, God our Father, accepts as pure and faultless; which is to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep myself from being polluted by the world.  James 1:27
Holy Spirit, please help me to remember that love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  1 Corinthians 13:7
May Your Word in my life be like a fire that burns the rubbish, and like a hammer that breaks any lies in pieces.  Jeremiah 23:29
When I am tempted to believe that I have become separated from the Holy Trinity, may I remind myself that as I say, ‘Jesus is Lord’, I do so only by the Holy Spirit in me. So I say Jesus is Lord over my thoughts, Jesus is Lord over my feelings, Jesus is Lord over my life, Jesus is Lord over all! Amen.  1 Corinthians 12:3
Almighty Father, when I feel overwhelmed may I recall to mind the spiritual reality which is: that Your incomparable great power to us who believe is like the working of Your mighty strength, which You exerted in Christ when You raised Him from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And, Father God, You placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the Church, which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills everything in every way. So with such a wonderful reality I can lift my eyes off my problems and meditate on the wonder of You, and my Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.  Ephesians 1:19-23
