CONDUCT - Speech

When I entertain destructive conversation, please convict me to avoid godless chatter, because I do not want to become more and more ungodly as I indulge in it.  2 Timothy 2:16 1 Timothy 6:20
Dear God, may our fellowship serve You shoulder to shoulder. Forgive me where I have sown discord by complaining about others, instead of sowing peace.  Zephaniah 3:9 Galatians 5:20 James 3:18
Holy Spirit, please help me in my desire to not let any unwholesome talk come out of my mouth. May my speech be only what is helpful for building others up, according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.  Ephesians 4:29
Please teach me how to endure hardship like a good soldier of Jesus Christ, and not to grumble.  2 Timothy 2:3 1 Corinthians 10:10
LORD, I repent of uttering worthless words, and ask for the grace to speak worthy words and so be restored, for You are with me to rescue and to save me.  Jeremiah 15:19-20
Forgive me Jesus when my hardness of heart grieves You. Grant me an understanding heart and heal me.  Mark 3:5 John 12:40
Lord and Father, I confess that with my tongue I praise You Lord and yet, sometimes, curse men who have been made in Your likeness. Out of the same mouth comes praise and cursing, Lord this should not be. No man can tame the tongue, it can be a restless evil, full of deadly poison; so I ask You to forgive me for the thoughtless, hurtful, or gossiping, words I've spoken this week which have corrupted my whole person. May Your Holy Spirit make me a peacemaker who sows in peace, and raises a harvest of righteousness.  James 3:9-10,8,6,18
May I devote myself to prayer, being watchful and thankful. I pray too that, Father God, You will open a door for me to proclaim Christ and His message clearly, as I should.  Colossians 4:2,3,4
Holy Spirit, please help me to recall that I have the ability in Christ to demolish arguments, and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God.  2 Corinthians 10:5
Please teach me how to speak the truth from my heart without slandering and casting a slur on my fellow man.  John 14:28 Psalm 15:3
