CONDUCT - Speech

Holy Spirit, please reveal to me the impure parts of my heart and enable my speech to be gracious, and so make worthy relationships.  Proverbs 22:11
Lord, would You grant me more patience and a gentle tongue please.  Proverbs 25:15 Matthew 11:29
Oh, my Lord, at times I am not eloquent, but slow of speech and of tongue.  Exodus 4:10
Please help me to stand up and intervene at the right time Lord.  Psalm 106:30
Dear God, please give me wisdom to not complain, but accept instruction.  James 1:5 Isaiah 29:24
Father, You are truthful.  John 8:26
O LORD God, in Your Word You express Yourself utterly truthfully, and unambiguously on subjects most of us would avoid; Please give me integrity in my speech and relationship to others, and reveal to me unrighteousness in my mind and heart. May I know that You, God Most High, are a shield to me when I fear being disliked, misunderstood, or rejected. Please give me an upright heart, and make me secure, as I plead my case to You with integrity.  Psalm 119:160, Psalm 7:11,8,10,9 Isaiah 59:4
Holy Spirit please help me to remember that satan is the father of lies.  John 8:44
Show me those times I employ crooked speech, and devious talk to manipulate situations. Please give me the grace to put this behaviour far from me and run to Jesus when I feel powerless.  Proverbs 4:24
You always speak the truth Lord, so I do not want to rely on empty arguments or to speak lies, or exaggerate, for this will conceive trouble and give birth to evil.  John 5:24 Isaiah 59:4 John 8:44
