PERSECUTION - Persecution
Lord, I lift to You those officials empowered to ensure justice and provision in our locality, may they do everything that has been committed to them lawfully. 2 Chronicles 34:16
Dear Holy Spirit, please help me to keep in mind that the body of Christ is in a spiritual battle, and to be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. Ephesians 6:18

Jesus, when I feel vulnerable and alone may I remember that I am now no longer separate from You Christ, and excluded from the covenants of the promise. Thank You that I am no longer without hope and without God in my world. Ephesians 2:12-13,
When I feel cast off and alone please help me to remember that I am accompanied by the Holy Trinity. For I am one of God's elect - a stranger in the world, who has been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by His blood. 1 Peter 1:1-2
Almighty Father, when I feel overwhelmed by the fears associated with persecution may I recall to my mind the spiritual reality, which is that Your incomparable great power to us who believe is like the working of Your mighty strength. I have hope in this power, which You exerted in Christ when You raised Him from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And, Father God, You placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the Church, which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills everything in every way. Therefore, with such a wonderful reality I can lift my eyes off my problems and meditate on the wonder of You, and my Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen. Ephesians 1:19-23
Thank You Lord God, that You made me alive with Christ and forgave me all my sins. May I not be disqualified for the prize, or lose connection with the Head, and so not grow as You God would cause me to grow. Colossians 2:13,18-19
Holy Spirit, please help me not to forget what scripture asks us to remember, that the man of lawlessness is doomed to destruction, for he will oppose and exalt himself over everything that is called God, or is worshipped 2 Thessalonians 2:5,3-4
Jesus, in this time of persecution, I take comfort in knowing that I am established in an everlasting covenant of peace with You. Ezekiel 37:26 Hebrews 13:20 Hebrews 8:8
Holy Spirit, please help me to fully grasp and enjoy the truth of the Apostle John's words, "God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. I want to know and rely on the love God has for me. 1 John 4:16
