Holy Spirit, please show me how to have an attitude to my employment as “serving the Lord, not men”, because the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does. Help me to work wholeheartedly and not just when their eyes are on me, but like a slave of Christ with sincerity. Ephesians 6:7-8,7,6,5
Sovereign Lord, may Your purposes stand, as I acknowledge that You may do all that You please, in my life. Isaiah 46:10
Holy Spirit, when nothing seems to be happening, please enable me to ponder on the truth that great are the works of the LORD, glorious and majestic are His deeds, the LORD is gracious and compassionate, the works of His hands are faithful and just. May I not forget that He provided redemption for me as one of His people, and to Him belongs eternal praise. Psalm 111:2-4,7,9-10
Dear Father God, I am Your child, please help me to get over any sense of loss because I am no longer physically active or in a role of responsibility. I thank You that You have called and chosen me and prepared good works for me to walk in to the end. Holy Spirit, please teach me how to pray effectively and consistently, so that I do not waste my time because the days are evil, and who knows if I am still alive for such a time as this!
