SUFFERING - Addiction

I thank You LORD God, that You promise everlasting, faithful, love. How wonderful!  Isaiah 55:3
Compassionate Lord, I come to You knowing You will not shout, or cry out at me, or raise Your voice in the streets. I feel like a bruised plant, and I know that You are gentle and You will not break me. A smouldering wick You will not snuff out. Thank You so much.  John 7:37 Isaiah 42:2-3
I am a (wo)man who has seen affliction. I have been driven away and made to walk in darkness rather than light. Indeed I have felt that it was Your hand has turned against me again and again, all day long. But like Job I will say, "Though He slay me, yet will I hope in Him". LORD, please take note of my distress.  Lamentations 3:1-3 Psalm 106:44
I turn to You LORD, so that You may be merciful to me, and freely pardon me from unduly dwelling on feelings of unfairness and powerlessness. I do not want to take refuge in melancholy thoughts but in You alone, for You are my refuge and my fortress.  Isaiah 55:7 1 John 1:9 Psalm 91:2
I come to You Jesus, because I do not want to sit in darkness today, please let me see a great light at the end of the tunnel. I want to see You Jesus, the light that has come into our world, and follow You.  John 7:37 Micah 7:8 John 8:12
Dear Holy Spirit, please teach me how to truly rely on the Lord in this difficult period of my life and to run to Him for help. I want to truly trust His timing, so that on the day He chooses, the burdens and the yoke others have put on me, will be broken. Please show me how to rest upon Jesus, Who has the Spirit of the LORD, the Spirit of Wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge of the fear of the LORD. He has no fear of man but delights in the fear and awe of the LORD.  John 14:28 Isaiah 10:20,3,27 Isaiah 11:2-3
May I only fear the LORD, for that is the beginning of wisdom. I do not want to say with pride and arrogance of heart, the bricks have fallen down around me, but I alone will rebuild with more effort. Instead, I choose to seek You Lord Almighty, I will run to You for help. I give control of my life to You, and I will let Jesus reign over me and my emotions. Lord, I want You to establish and uphold me from this time on, and forever.  Psalm 111:10 Isaiah 9:9-10,7
With my mouth I will greatly extol You LORD for You stand at the right hand of the needy one.  Acts 23:11 Psalm 109:30-31
During this time of great doubt about my worth and value to others, may I remember Lord that You said that I am worth more than many sparrows; and even know how many hairs are upon my head. You willingly suffered and died that I might live: because You loved me. Holy Spirit, please help me to keep a godly perspective on my worth, both now and in eternity.  Matthew 10:31 Colossians 1:24 Hebrews 2:9
I want an attitude of day, after day, seeking You out Lord; and being eager to know Your ways, and doing what is right.  Isaiah 58:2
