Holy Spirit, please remind me when I start to fantasize about money, that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and help me instead to strive to be free and to be content with what I have. 1 Timothy 6:10 Hebrews 13:5
Lord, when I am concerned and emotionally affected by the loss of material possessions, or those things I am deeply attached to; may I treasure more: the truth that I have an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade - kept in heaven for me. Holy Spirit, please help me to remember not to put my hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put my hope in God. 1 Timothy 6:17
