I thank You Jesus that Your grace is sufficient for me to be obedient to Your desire for me to forgive others as You forgive.  2 Corinthians 12:9 Matthew 6:12
Sometimes Your teaching Jesus seems too hard and I can feel like giving up because I do not have enough power in me. Grant me the grace to receive from Your words God’s life giving Spirit.  John 6:60-63
Lord, I want to pray, but first I need to forgive (name) because I am holding things against him and I want You to forgive me my sins. Please give me the grace to do this as an act of faith rather than how I feel. Holy Spirit please help me to do this as often as it takes over the years, because God will judge those who have abused me and I can leave punishment to Him.  Mark 11:25, Deuteronomy 32:35, Isaiah 35:4
Soften my heart Jesus, for I do not want You to be grieved by any hardness in my heart.  Mark 3:5
Jesus, I come to You and ask for comfort from Your love at this time.  John 7:37 Philippians 2:1
Father, please cause (name) to turn from his evil deeds, and acts of violence, so that his feet no longer rush into sin.  Isaiah 59:6 Luke 6:28
Heavenly Father, please draw (name) to Jesus.  John 6:44
Father God, as Your child I want to always remember that I do not live by the standards of this world. The weapons I fight with are not the weapons of this world. On the contrary … I have divine power to demolish strongholds (those thoughts and things that can have a strong hold on me). I demolish any excuses or thinking, and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God in my life. I take captive EVERY THOUGHT to make it obedient to Christ and subject to God's standards.  2 Corinthians 10:2,8-10
Lord, may I no longer be captive to this sin, but come out of captivity.  Isaiah 49:9 Matthew 18:7 John 8:36
Holy Spirit, please teach me to truly understand that I cannot expect my voice to be heard on high by You, when there is quarrelling and striking with fists by me.  Isaiah 58:4 1 Peter 3:7
