I thank You Lord, that as I guard my heart I can go out with joy, and be led forth in peace, in You.  Proverbs 4:23 Isaiah 55:12
Loving LORD I can be encouraged that as You spoke of Israel, so Your heart is towards me, whom You chose and called to Yourself. You chose me and have not rejected me. Help me not to fear for You are with me, help me not to be dismayed for You are my God. Strengthen and help me at this time, and uphold me with Your righteous right hand.  Isaiah 41:8-10
Holy Spirit, please help me to recall to my mind that when I am hard pressed on every side – I am not crushed. When I become perplexed I do not have to despair. When I am persecuted, I am not abandoned by You. If I am struck down I am not destroyed. May I believe this and speak it out.  2 Corinthians 4:8-9,19,13,15
When darkness overtakes me - LIGHT will come bursting in. Thank You Lord.  Psalm 112:4
Please turn the darkness into light before me and make the rough places smooth today Lord.  Isaiah 42:16
I can feel overwhelmed at times, but You Lord are Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.  2 Corinthians 3:17
Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your unfailing love, according to Your great compassion.  Psalm 51:1
When I am tempted to give in to my sinful cravings, Holy Spirit please help me to recall that because of His great love for me, God, Who is rich in mercy, made me alive with Christ even when I was dead in my transgressions. So I will turn to You Jesus, for You are God's expressed kindness to me.  Ephesians 2:3-5,7,
You are the Lord, I will not give glory to another source of protection, or my praise to idols of keeping control over my life, for it was You alone LORD who brought me out of slavery to sin, and I shall have no other gods before You. Holy Spirit please convict me of any sinful attitude, which exalts itself above true reverence for Almighty God.  Isaiah 42:8 Exodus 20:2, John 8:54 John 16:8 Psalm 97:9
Thank You Jesus that You called me to peace. I will take rest in You.  Colossians 3:15 Matthew 11:28
