Jesus Christ, the true God and eternal life, please grant me Your grace to desire intimacy with You above all others and to guard myself from anything I may idolise.  1 John 5:20-21
Holy Spirit, teach me to see that the Lord is good in a way that I can taste His goodness to me. Moreover, as I would put tasty food in my mouth to enjoy it, may I increasingly make the effort to feed on Jesus, in any manner available, each day. For Your Word tells me I shall be blessed, as I take refuge in You.  Psalm 34:8
LORD Almighty, I cry out to You because of my oppressors, be my Saviour and defend and rescue me. Please make Yourself known to me at this time.  Isaiah 19:20-21
Jesus You too experienced the desolation of crying out, "My God, my God, why have You forsaken me". Please help me to understand that the Father poured out His entire wrath upon You so that I might know His presence in my life.  Mark 15:34 Psalm 22:1 Romans 5:9
Thank You Father, that with pleasure Your will was that in love, I be adopted as Your son, through Jesus Christ.  Ephesians 1:5
My desire is that I have a reverence for You God and purify myself from everything that contaminates my body and spirit, perfecting holiness.  2 Corinthians 7:1
Holy Spirit, please show me where I am stiff-necked so that I may repent and submit that area to the Lord. Thank You.  2 Chronicles 30:8
Almighty God, the idols in my life of self- protection and control, etc, though I cry out, they cannot answer, they cannot save me from my troubles. So, dear Lord, please bring Your righteousness near and may Your salvation not be delayed.  Isaiah 46:7,13 1 John 5:21
When I feel far away from You God, may I remember that I have been brought near to You, through the blood of Christ; And I am no longer without hope, and without You God, in my world.  Ephesians 2:12-13
Father, please forgive me for any resentment I may feel because I was not the favourite one in our home; I thank You that there is no favouritism with You Lord.  Colossians 3:25
