Thank You Lord, that unto me Jesus has been given, and the government of my life, and situation, I place on His shoulders. He will be my Wonderful Counsellor. He is my Everlasting Father. He is my Prince of Peace. I want there be no end to the increase of peace and His control over my life. I want Jesus to reign over me and my emotions. I want You Lord to establish and uphold me, from this time on, and forever. As I trust You, Your zeal Lord Almighty, will accomplish this.  Isaiah 9:6-7
Almighty God, Your Word says, "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?" So I give You permission to search my heart and examine my mind so that I can face my true anxieties in my counselling relationships.  Jeremiah 17:9-10 Psalm 26:2 Psalm 139:23-24
Holy Spirit, please help me to follow Jesus’ example and not be afraid to offer up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears when appropriate.  Hebrews 5:7
I will cast my burdens, and the burdens others have shared with me, on to You Jesus, because You care for me.  1 Peter 5:7
O Lord, when emotional pain seizes me may I not forget that You are my King, when I cry aloud and there is no counsellor there for me; may I not forget that You are my wonderful Counsellor. You can redeem me out of any heartache, and out of the hand of my enemies. My desire is to convey these truth to my clients too, thank You.  Micah 4:9 Isaiah 9:6 Micah 4:10
Lord Jesus, please help me when de-briefing to examine the words that come out of my mouth for they come from my heart.  Matthew 15:18
Jesus, when I think more highly of myself, than I ought to, please help me to remember that You did not exalt Yourself.  Hebrews 5:5
