CHURCH - For Persecuted
In their times of trouble may they not become unfaithful to You LORD. 2 Chronicles 28:22
Father, may they be as the early Church who rejoiced because they were counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name of Jesus. Acts 5:41
Grant Your grace to them to show the love of God within them to others. John 5:42
Holy Spirit, please help them to remember that love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Corinthians 13:7
Father God, may they be given grace to put their hope in You and continue night and day to pray and to ask You for help. 1 Timothy 5:5
May they seldom reflect on the days of their life, because You God can keep them occupied with gladness of heart. Please help them to do just that. Ecclesiastes 5:20
Holy Spirit, please enable them to show more of the aroma of Christ in the midst of persecution. 2 Corinthians 2:15
Lord Jesus, those times when they feel overwhelmed by spiritual attacks, may they recall that You disarmed the powers and authorities and put them to open shame, triumphing over them by the cross. And satan (the deceiver) is destined to be thrown into the lake of burning sulphur, where he will be tormented day and night forever and ever! Colossians 2:15 Revelation 20:10
Dear Father God, when they suffer according to Your will grant them Your grace to commit themselves to You, our faithful Creator, and continue to do good. 1 Peter 4:19
