Dear God of all hope and encouragement, please enable us as a congregation to encourage one another and to build each other up. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Lord, I want us to excel in faith, speech, knowledge, complete earnestness, in love, in grace of giving, for this will test the sincerity of our love. Please give us Your grace to obey you in these areas. 2 Corinthians 8:7-8
May the congregation be able to truly praise God for the daily services that the pastor performs in supplying our needs through teaching and prayer. Holy Spirit, please assist him in every matter. 2 Corinthians 9:13,12
Jesus, because You said, "Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also", I ask You to search my heart so that I may know its true treasure. I do not want to be deceived about what motivates me, or is truly important to me in my fellowship with others. Matthew 6:21 1 Corinthians 4:5
You know how much I have been hurt, but I choose to ask You for the grace to bear with and forgive those I have grievances with. I want to forgive them as You Lord have forgiven me. Colossians 3:13
LORD, please help me to do away with pointing the finger and malicious talk. Isaiah 58:9
Holy Spirit, please remind us to not grumble against each other, or we will be judged. James 5:9
Father, I confess that I often judge and slander my brothers and sisters, please forgive me and give me more grace. God, You oppose the proud and I have been very indignant and so need to humble myself in these relationships, I ask for Your grace as I do this. Holy Spirit, please help me to remember that there is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One Who is able to save and destroy, so who am I to judge others. God forgive me my sins. Amen! James 4:11,6,12

Dear Lord, would You show us what can cause turmoil and quarrels amongst us. We do not seem to be able to recognise that they come from the unfulfilled desires that battle within us - help us to take responsibility for this. James 4:1-2
