CONDUCT - Temptation
LORD Almighty, please keep me from becoming dull of hearing and bless me with an increasingly strong desire for the solid food of Your Word so that I may be able to distinguish good from evil. Amen. Isaiah 6:9-10 Hebrews 5:11-14
May Your Word take deep root in my heart so that it does not wither away when the heat is turned up in my circumstances. Mathew 13:6-9
Holy Sprit, please help me to remember that if I follow the ways of my heart and whatever my eyes see, for these things God will bring me to judgement. Ecclesiastes 11:9 Matthew 18:9
I sincerely want to be led by the Spirit and inherit the Kingdom of God, so I ask You Lord to help me to hate the obvious sinful acts of sexual immorality, impurity, debauchery which can be viewed on the internet and elsewhere. Galatians 5:18,19-20
For freedom, Christ You have set me free, please grant me the grace to discontinue succumbing to the filthy things of this world and becoming enslaved. Galatians 5:1
Heavenly Father, I want to walk in the light, as You are in the light, and I choose to walk out of this darkness into fellowship with You. And I ask for the blood of Jesus, Your Son, to purify me from all sin. 1 John 1:7,6-7
Father God, while I am feeling that I cannot trust my thoughts, I am so glad that You, (Who called me into fellowship with Your Son Jesus Christ my Lord) are faithful. 1 Corinthians 1:9
Lord, now that I know You, and are known by You, please help me to resist turning back to those weak and miserable principles, because I do not wish to be enslaved by them all over again. Galatians 4:9
Jesus, please help me to remember that Your origins are from of old, from ancient times, and there is nothing new under the sun, so my problem is not a shock to You, or beyond Your capabilities. John 1:1 Micah 5:2 Ecclesiastes 1:9
Holy Spirit, please show me through the Scriptures and prayer how I may lift my drooping hands and strengthen my weak knees; making straight paths for my feet, so that what is lame may not be put out of joint but rather be healed. Hebrews 12:12
