At times LORD, I am troubled at all the justice that is driven back in our land and righteousness stands at a distance; truth has stumbled in the streets, honesty cannot enter. It can feel as though truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. Ungodly people rush into sin; they are swift to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are evil thoughts; ruin and destruction mark their ways. The way of peace they do not know, there is no justice in their paths. Isaiah 59:14-15,6-8 Jude 20-23
Help me to take comfort in that, You too LORD, are displeased that there is no justice and appalled that there is no one adequate to intervene, and have said according to what they have done, so will You repay. However, You Jesus are The Redeemer, Who has come for those who will repent of their sins. Have mercy on these children, and men, and women, of violent words and actions. Cause them to turn to You and be saved from their sins. Amen. Isaiah 59:16,20-21,20 Acts 2:38 Matthew 21:32
