Lord, may I be delivered from perverse and evil men, for not all have faith. 2 Thessalonians 3:2
Holy Spirit, please help me to remember that if I am insulted for the name of Christ I am blessed, for the spirit and glory of Christ rests on me. 1 Peter 4:14
Dear Holy Spirit, please enable me to not live the rest of my earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. For I have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do - living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry. Help me to stand with dignity when they think it strange, that I do not plunge with them into the same flood of dissipation, and heap abuse on me. May I remember that they will have to give an account to You Who is ready to judge the living and the dead. Lord have mercy on them and enable me to always be prepared to give a reason for the hope I have in You, yet with gentleness and respect, so that those who speak maliciously against my good behaviour in Christ, may be ashamed of their slander. 1 Peter 4:2-5 1 Peter 3:15-16
Please remind me when necessary that Jesus spoke of the devil, and said he was a murderer from the beginning and that he does not uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him! John 8:44
Holy Spirit, please help me to remember and rejoice in knowing, that I am to God: the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. John 14:26 2 Corinthians 2:15-16
Jesus, my desire is that my response to others be acting in line with the truth of the gospel. Galatians 2:14
Holy Spirit, please encourage me and my brothers in the Lord, to speak the Word of God more courageously and fearlessly. Philippians 1:14
Lord Jesus, the desire of my heart is that my family not be as sheep without a shepherd, and that we all escape the wrath of the LORD of hosts. Amen! Isaiah 13:13-14 Hebrews 13:20-21
Father, would You please grant the unsaved members of my family the grace to discontinue refusing to love the truth, and so become saved. 2 Thessalonians 2:10
Lord, may I become bold and go to my family and tell them how much You have done for me, and how You have had mercy on me. Amen! Mark 5:19
