SUFFERING - Suffering
Dear Lord, this hardship I am suffering has put me under great pressure, far beyond my ability to endure, so that at times I even despair of life. At times, in my heart, I have felt the sentence of death. May I not rely on myself, but on You God who raises the dead. Please deliver me. On You I have my hope that You will continue to deliver me. May I be able to thank You for Your gracious favour granted to me, in answering my prayer (and the prayers of many). 2 Corinthians 1:8-11
Lord Jesus, may Your power be made perfect in my weakness by Your grace - which is sufficient for me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
I thank You Almighty God, that You have ordained that one day gladness and joy will overtake me, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. Isaiah 35:10 Revelation 21:4
Father, I truly thank You that in order to bring many sons to glory You saw it fitting to make Jesus, the Author of my salvation, perfect through suffering. May I glorify You in the midst of my suffering. Hebrews 2:10
Dear Holy Spirit, please help me to understand just how as the sufferings of Christ overflow into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 2 Corinthians 1:5
Lord, please help me to understand that when I am not successful in what I undertake, and it feels as though You have left me, maybe this is a test to show me everything that is in my heart. 2 Chronicles 32:30-31
Jesus, have compassion on me for I feel harassed and helpless, like a sheep without a shepherd. Matthew 9:36
Give ear, O God and hear, open Your eyes and see the desperateness of this situation. I do not make requests of You because I am righteous, but because of Your great mercy. Oh Lord, listen!
