Lord, I am afraid that when (name) and I meet, I may not find them as I want them to be, and they may not find me as they want me to be. I fear that because of our insecurities there may be quarrelling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, gossip, arrogance and even disorder. Please teach me Holy Spirit, to recognise exactly what has offended me, so that, at the appropriate time, I may speak the truth in love; rather than stuff my feelings and become resentful. Ephesians 4:15
Father, I want to speak the truth in love; and in all things grow up into Him Who is the Head, that is, Christ. From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. Please give me Your grace so that I may I lovingly build others up. Ephesians 4:15-16
