CHURCH - For Persecuted
Dear God of peace, please sanctify them through and through, and may their whole spirit, soul and body, be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You Lord that the One Who calls them is faithful, and He will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
LORD, please be their strength and their song. Psalm 118:14 Matthew 1:23
Take note of their distress and hear their cry, and for their sake remember Your covenant; and out of Your great love relent and cause them to be pitied by all who hold them captive. Psalm 106:44-46
Restore to them the joy of Your salvation and grant them a willing spirit, to sustain them. Psalm 50:23
Lord Jesus, give them the grace to boldly proclaim Your Name if they ever have to stand on trial for their hope in the resurrection of the dead. Acts 23:6
Jesus, may they take comfort in that You say, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies". John 11:25
Holy Spirit, please help them to fully grasp and enjoy the truth of the Apostle John's words, "God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him". Grant them Your grace to truly know and rely on the love God has for them. 1 John 4:16
Lord, I ask for those who are concerned and emotionally affected by the loss of material possessions, or things they are deeply attached to; may they receive Your grace to treasure more: the truth that they have an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade - kept in heaven for them. So in this may they increasingly rejoice! 1 Peter 1:4,6
May they consider the reproach of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of this world. Hebrews 11:26
