TREASURE CHEST - Treasure Chest
When I feel overwhelmed by spiritual attacks, may I recall that You Jesus disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. And satan (the deceiver) is destined to be thrown into the lake of burning sulphur, where he will be tormented day and night for ever and ever! Colossians 2:15 Revelation 20:10
I thank You Father God that the reason You sent Your Son Jesus to us, was to destroy the devils work in our lives. Hallelujah! 1 John 3:8 Revelation 19:1
Help me Lord, to no longer live in the futility of my thinking about where I am going, or what I should be doing, being wise in my own eyes. I want to trust in You Lord with all my heart, please help me to not lean on my own understanding which is limited. I want to acknowledge You in all my ways from now on, for then You will make my paths straight as I fear You and shun evil. Ephesians 4:17, Proverbs 3:7,5-6,7
May I value the place in life that You Lord have assigned to me, and to which You have called me. 1 Corinthians 7:17
Thank You Father for Your covenant of peace with me, please make me a blessing, and cause showers of blessing to come down in their season as You promised those who walk with You. Please give me wisdom to recognise the times and the seasons that You ordained each day for me before I was born. Help me to understand my anxious thoughts and to count them my enemies, for I want to be rid of any offensive way in me and to be a blessing. Ezekiel 34:25- 26 James 1:5 Psalm 139:16,23,22,24
I do not want to be as one who watches the wind and will not plant, or looks at the clouds and so will not reap. Please show me where I am guilty of procrastinating, or fearful of taking a chance, and enable me to repent. Ecclesiastes 11:4
Help me to truly know, O Lord, that a man's life is not his own; and it is not for a man to direct his steps. So, I trust You Lord to guide my path. Jeremiah 10:23 Proverbs 20:24
Dear Lord, I pray that today I will be strong and very courageous, and that I will not tremble or be dismayed; for You Lord are my God and are with me wherever I go. Joshua 1:9
Lord, when I think “It’s unfair!” may I remember that the Apostle Paul worked much harder, had been in prison frequently, was flogged more severely, and exposed to death again and again. Five times had 39 lashes, 3 times beaten with rods, once stoned, 3 times shipwrecked, had one night and a day in the open sea; constantly on the move in danger from rivers, bandits, in danger from own countrymen and in danger from unbelievers, in danger in the city, in danger in the country, in danger at sea, and in danger from false brothers. He laboured and toiled and often went without sleep, often went without food and been cold and naked. Daily faced pressure of concern for congregations. He said, “Who is weak, and I do not feel weak? Who is led into sin, and I do not inwardly burn?” Maybe, Lord, I have much to be grateful for – forgive me for my over pre-occupation with self. 2 Corinthians 11:23-29
Spirit of Truth, please help me not to be complacent about praying for protection for myself; In this respect may I diligently guard the fortress, watch the road, brace myself, and marshal all my strength to keep in Your will LORD. Nahum 2:1 Ephesians 6:13 Galatians 5:1 1 Corinthians 16:13
