CHURCH - The Word
Lord, grant me wisdom and discernment to recognise deceiving impostors who deny that all Scripture is God-breathed; and remind me that all Scripture is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:13,16
Some things in the Apostle Paul’s letters are hard to understand, please help me Holy Spirit to receive the wisdom given. 2 Peter 3:16,15
May I not keep to an infant's diet, but go on to solid spiritual food when reading the Bible, so that I will not need someone to teach me the elementary truths of God's Word all over again. Hebrews 5:12
Please help me, Lord, to present myself to You as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, and who correctly handles the Word of truth at all times. 2 Timothy 2:14-15
Dear Holy Spirit, would You please reveal those amongst us who by this time should now be teachers of the Word. Hebrews 5:12
Holy Spirit, please help me to receive the Word of God from whoever ministers, not as the word of men, but as it actually is, the Word of God, which will do its work in me as I believe it. I thank You. 1 Thessalonians 2:13
May the Word of God continue to spread rapidly and increase from our ministry for Your glory. Acts 6:7, Acts 12:24
Jesus, may those who hear and receive Your Word with joy in our ministry, be given the grace to let their roots go deep into You, and not allow trouble and persecution to make them fall away. Mark 4:16-17
Holy Spirit, please teach the young men and women in our Christian fellowship how to keep pure and live according to Your Word. Psalm 119:9
Please remind me to regularly pray that satan does not come and take away the Word that has been sown in other's lives. Mark 4:15
