CHURCH - For Pastor
Holy Spirit, please help the pastor to be strong in the Lord so that he can stand against the devil's schemes. Ephesians 6:10-11
Lord, may he continue to seek righteousness and humility. Zephaniah 2:3
Almighty God, please give the pastor the wisdom he needs to shepherd Your flock that is under his care, as You would have him do. By Your grace may he willingly exercise oversight, not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering those in his charge, but being an example to the flock. Please give him the grace to do this with joy, for when the Chief Shepherd appears he will receive the unfading crown of glory. James 1:5 1 Peter 5:2-4 Hebrews 13:17
May we give the pastor good reason to always want to thank You God as he remembers the congregation in his prayers. Philemon 1:5
Dear God, please be at work in our pastor's ministry and give him all grace and wisdom. Galatians 2:8-9 James 1:5
Because sweetness of speech increases persuasiveness, please grant him the grace to show love and concern in his communications. Proverbs 16:21
Holy Spirit, please help him to remember that love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. John 14:26 1 Corinthians 13:7
Lord of the harvest, would You grant a fuller understanding of the Kingdom of heaven to our Pastor so that he teaches new treasures as well as old. Matthew 13:51-52
