CHURCH - For Persecuted
Jesus, may Your church consider You Who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that we might not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12:3
Grant them the grace to trust You that Your divine power has given them everything they need for life today. 2 Peter 1:3
Father, I thank You for the truth that everyone born of God overcomes the world, that is those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God; and have Your testimony of this in their heart. 1 John 5:4-5,10
Grant me the grace to fearlessly accept as a fact that everyone who wants to live a godly life, in Christ Jesus, will be persecuted. 2 Timothy 3:12
Jesus, because the end of all things is near, I ask that You help me to be clear minded and self controlled so that I can pray for Your persecuted church. 1 Peter 4:7
Father, may they not be surprised when pagans accuse them of doing wrong, but continue even more to live such a good life that they see their good deeds, and glorify You God on the day that You visit us. 1 Peter 2:12
Dear Holy Spirit, please help them to remember the Word, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures they may have hope. Thank You. John 14:26 Romans 15:4
Open their eyes that they may see wonderful things in the Word of God. Psalm 119:18
Please help them to remember that if they are insulted for the name of Christ they are blessed, for the spirit and glory of Christ rests upon them. 1 Peter 4:14
Good Shepherd, please encourage them with the truth that You laid down Your life for them and will not abandon them when they are under spiritual attack. John 10:13
