O Lord, when pain seizes me may I not forget that You are my King, when I cry aloud and there is no counsellor there for me; may I not forget that You are my wonderful Counsellor. You can redeem me out of this heartache, and out of the hand of my enemies. Micah 4:9 Isaiah 9:6 Micah 4:10
I feel walled in with this issue, so that I cannot escape and I am weighed down with chains. Even when I call out, or cry for help, I feel as though You have shut out my prayer. Yet I will call out again despite my feelings, for You have said, "Call to Me and I will answer you". Please help me to recognise and accept Your answer in whatever form it takes. Compassionate Lord, I come to You knowing You will not shout, or cry out at me, or raise Your voice in the streets. I feel like a bruised plant, and I know that You are gentle and You will not break me. A smouldering wick You will not snuff out. Thank You so much. John 7:37 Isaiah 42:2-3
