DEPRESSION - Depression
Almighty God, You created and formed me, please give me what I need to cope at this time. Isaiah 43:1 2 Corinthians 4:7
May I not continue to burden You Lord with my sin, and weary You with my offences, but remember that You blot out my transgressions for Your own sake, and remember my sins no more. Please would You make all grace abound to me so that I make every effort to be holy, because without holiness no one will see You Lord, and I truly want to. Isaiah 43:24-25 2 Corinthians 9:8 Hebrews 12:14
Thank You Jesus, that You said, “Come to ME, all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart: and you shall find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My load is light”. Therefore, no matter how bad I feel, as an act of my will, I take off this load and receive the rest You promised, and cast all my cares on You, because You care for me! Matthew 11:28-30 I Peter 5:7
Creator God, You formed me in the womb, You know my vulnerability – please restore me. Isaiah 44:26,24
Thank You Father God, that in accordance with the richness of Your grace, which You lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding, I have redemption through Jesus’ blood, the forgiveness of sins. Ephesians 1:7-8,7
You bought me out of bondage to sin, may I remember my journey in those days and Your righteous acts Lord. You have shown me what is good and what You Lord require of me. To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with You my God. Please help me to be faithful to You in these things. Micah 6:5,8
May my depression not prohibit me from being praised by the churches for my service to the gospel. 2 Corinthians 8:18
O Great and Mighty God, I want to comprehend Your purposes in this present confusion, for You do not speak in secret from somewhere in a land of darkness, and I do not pray to a God Who cannot save. Isaiah 45:19-20
My King and my God to You I pray, when pain seizes me may I not forget that You are my King. Micah 4:9 Psalm 5:2
Lord, would You please go before me and level this mountain of confusion and mental instability which prevails. Isaiah 45:2
