SUFFERING - Addiction
I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall. I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me. Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope. Holy Spirit, teach me to not gloat when my enemy falls, or to let my heart rejoice when he stumbles, for the Lord will see it and disapprove, and turn His wrath away from him! Proverbs 24:18 Romans 12:19
Heavenly Father, may I not allow iniquities to separate me from You God, or my un-confessed sins cause You to hide Your face from me and not hear my prayers. Isaiah 59:2 1 John 1:9
Holy Spirit, please show me how to circumcise my heart (for the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately corrupt) and I do not truly know its desires. Jeremiah 3:4
