SUFFERING - Addiction
Jesus, I come to You and ask that I be enabled to keep my relational boundaries intact. John 7:37 Micah 7:11
Merciful God, may terror be far removed and not come near me. Isaiah 54:14
Wonderful Saviour, I ask You to make the crooked thinking straight and the rough approaches become smooth in my relationships with others; so that I might see Your salvation in my life. Luke 3:5-6
Sovereign LORD, I want to sing out of the joy of my heart. Isaiah 65:14
LORD, please be my strength and my song. Psalm 118:14 Matthew 1:23
Today, I will take courage in the thought that You LORD God, told my Lord Jesus to sit at Your right hand, until He made Your enemies a footstool for His feet. I want to see these enemies in my life of addiction, etc; under Jesus' feet. Psalm 110:1 Hebrews 1:13 Acts 2:34
Lord, to my shame, I sometimes find that I have misjudged others’ motivations and intentions towards me, and feel like the person who is so busy looking at the splinter in another’s eye that he cannot see the plank in his own eye. Holy Spirit, please reveal to me the root of this judgementalism, so that I can truly repent and cast it aside. Matthew 7:3 John 14:28
May I be taught, rebuked, corrected and trained in righteousness as I read all parts of the Bible; and be prepared to encourage others with great patience and careful instruction. 2 Timothy 3:16 2 Timothy 4:2
Jesus, help me to take up my cross and follow You today. Matthew 16:24
Please forgive me for the resentment I sometimes feel that I was not one of the favourite ones, or chosen for a team. Thank You that You did choose me and that there is no favouritism with You Lord. Matthew 22:14 Colossians 3:25
