Please show me how to rest upon Jesus, Who has the Spirit of the LORD, the Spirit of Wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge of the fear of the LORD. He has no fear of man, but delights in the fear and awe of the LORD. Isaiah 11:2-3 Luke 4:18 2 Corinthians 3:17
May I only fear the LORD, for that is the beginning of wisdom. I do not want to say with pride and arrogance of heart, "The bricks have fallen down around me, but I alone have the solution!". Instead I choose to seek You LORD Almighty, I will run to You for help. I give control of my life to You, and I will let Jesus reign over me and my emotions. Dear God, may Your grace be given to me when I doubt my son-ship, and even feel worthless and near to being cursed. Please encourage me to feel sure of better things – things that belong to salvation. Hebrews 6:6,8-9
O God of peace, please sanctify me through and through. May my whole spirit, soul and body, be kept blameless at the coming of my Lord Jesus Christ, for the One Who calls me is faithful, and He will do it. Have mercy on me at this time. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 Psalm 9:13

Please enable me to enjoy my relative wealth and possessions, to accept my lot and to be happy in my work, as this is a gift from You God. May I seldom reflect on the days of my life, because You God can keep me occupied with gladness of heart. Amen. Ecclesiastes 5:19-20
