CONDUCT - Temptation
Jesus, please deliver me from evil because I am no longer a slave, but a son of God, and I do not want to sin. Galatians 4:7
Father, I want to behave as one of Your sons yet I am in a struggle against sin, please help me to resist this temptation and it to pass me by, so that I may not have reason to be disciplined. Hebrews 12:5,4,6 Matthew 6:13
Almighty God, Your Word says, "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?" So I give You permission to search my heart and examine my mind so that I can deal with those temptations in my life. Jeremiah 17:9-10 Psalm 26:2 Psalm 139:23-24
Grant me the grace to recognise when I am using my freedom as a cover-up for ungodly behaviour. 1 Peter 2:16
Holy Spirit, please help me to remember that it is the whole duty of man to fear God and keep His commandments, and I should consider this when concluding matters. John 14:26 Ecclesiastes 12:13
