CONDUCT - Justice
God, You are not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. Galatians 6:7
With so much injustice in life God, I thank You that You will give to each person according to what they have done. To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honour and immortality, You will give eternal life. Nevertheless for those who are self-seeking who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil - for God You do not show favouritism. Romans 2:6-9,11
Spirit of Truth, please help me to remember that it is better a little with righteousness than much gain with injustice - please show me who to buy from and trade with so that I do not profit from the exploitation of the poor. Proverbs 16:8 Proverbs 22:22
Help me to increasingly do what is right and just, and defend the cause of the poor and needy. For to do these things is part of what it means to know You Lord; and then all will go well with me. Jeremiah 22:15-16
Lord Jesus, our Redeemer, I lift to You the area in which we all live. At times justice is far from us, and righteousness does not reach us. We look for light, but it seems all is darkness, for brightness, we walk in deep shadows. In our exasperation Lord, we find ourselves either growling like bears to those who will listen, or moaning mournfully like doves to ourselves. For we look for justice, but seem to find none; for deliverance, but it seems far away. Please forgive us Lord, for You see it all and are displeased. Lord there is no one adequate to intervene, come to those in this area who will repent of their sins. Our Redeemer, Lord Jesus, come! Isaiah 59,:9,11,15-16,20
Dear Holy Spirit, please help me to be mindful that no creature is hidden from God’s sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of Him to Whom we must give an account. Hebrews 4:13
The world hates Jesus because He testified about it that its deeds are evil. John 7:7
Righteous Father, I thank You that You have set a day when Jesus, Who You appointed, will judge the world with justice! Acts 17:31
Holy Jesus, I thank You that You are faithful and true and will judge with justice. Mark 1:24 Revelation 19:11
O God, Whom I praise, do not remain silent for hateful men are speaking out against me, using lies and attacking me without cause. Psalm 109:3
