SUFFERING - Addiction
When I am tempted to give into my sinful cravings, Holy Spirit please help me to recall that, because of His great love for me: God, Who is rich in mercy, made me alive with Christ even when I was dead in my transgressions. So may I turn to You Jesus instead, for You are God's expressed kindness to me. Ephesians 2:3-5,7,
Although, I am unworthy of all the kindness and faithfulness You have shown to me Lord, You have graciously clothed me with garments of salvation and a robe of righteousness. Genesis 32:10 Isaiah 61:10 Luke 15:21-24
I thank You that I am no longer a slave, but a son of God. Galatians 4:7
When I feel incomplete, Holy Spirit please help me to remember that, in Jesus, I too am being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit. Ephesians 2:12,22
Lord, will you sweep away my refuge in the lie of (identify) and flood my hiding place with Your presence, please annul my covenant with death. Isaiah 28:17-18
Holy Spirit, please help me to avoid all extremes. Ecclesiastes 7:18
Lord, You say, "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the Lord. My prayer is that I never forsake You Lord, the spring of living water. For blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him. He will be like a tree planted by the water.... it does not fear when heat comes... it has no worries in a year of drought, and never fails to bear fruit. Bless You Lord. Jeremiah 17:5,13,7-8
