Lord Jesus, our Redeemer, I lift to You the area in which we all live. At times justice is far from us, and righteousness does not reach us. We look for light, but it seems all is darkness, for brightness - but it feels like we walk in deep shadows. In our exasperation Lord, we can find ourselves either growling like bears to those who will listen, or moaning mournfully like doves to ourselves. For we look for justice, but seem to find none, for deliverance, but it seems far away. Please forgive us Lord, for You see it all and are displeased. Lord, there is no one, but You Jesus, who is adequate to intervene, come to those in this area who will repent of their sins. Our Redeemer, Lord Jesus, come! Isaiah 59,:9,11-16,20 Daniel 9:19-20
Jesus, please guide me to those who walk in the darkness and do not know where they are going. John 12:35-36,46
