PERSECUTION - Persecution
Thank You Lord God, that Your ears are attentive to the prayers of the righteous. Because I have this righteousness from You, which comes through faith in Jesus Christ, I believe You will hear these prayers. 1 Peter 3:12 Romans 3:22
Father God, as Your child I want to always remember that I do not live by the standards of this world. The weapons I fight with are not the weapons of this world. On the contrary … I have divine power to demolish strongholds (those thoughts and things that can have a strong hold on me). I demolish any excuses or thinking, and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God in my life. I take captive EVERY THOUGHT to make it obedient to Christ and subject to God's standards. 2 Corinthians 10:2,8-10
When I am feeling as though I am the only one in the world undergoing such suffering, may I realise that other brothers do too! and resist the devil’s roaring and stand firm in the faith. 1 Peter 5:9,8-9
I have never suffered at the hands of others to the extent the Apostle Paul did, but I pray that like him, I could be sorrowful yet always rejoicing. 2 Corinthians 6:10
Thank You Lord, that the needy will not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the afflicted ever perish. Psalm 9:18
Holy Spirit, enable me to say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear, your God will come… to save you". Isaiah 35:4
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with us all in this situation. 2 Thessalonians 3:18
Dear God, please let light shine out of this darkness - make Your light to shine in my heart, to give me the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6
Jesus, my thinking is so darkened lately, and I seem to have wandered from the truth – I so need You to bring me back on to the right way, and into the truth and the life! 2 Timothy 2:18 John 14:6
Holy Spirit, may any mood swings I experience not be a stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. 2 Corinthians 6:3
