DEPRESSION - Depression
Holy Spirit, teach me how not to use my freedom to indulge the sinful nature, but rather to serve others in love. Galatians 5:13
O Lord God, in Your Word You express Yourself utterly truthfully, and unambiguously on subjects most of us would avoid; Please give me integrity in my speech and relationship to others, and reveal to me any unrighteousness in my mind and heart. May I know that You, God Most High, are a shield to me when I fear being disliked, misunderstood, or rejected. Please give me an upright heart, and make me secure, as I plead my case to You with integrity. Psalm 119:160 Psalm 7:11,8,10,9 Isaiah 59:4
Thank You Lord that You will help me to not be afraid. 1 John 4:18 Isaiah 44:2
Holy Spirit, please teach me how to endure hardship like a good soldier of Jesus Christ, and not to grumble. 2 Timothy 2:3 1 Corinthians 10:10
Please LORD, take note of my distress and hear my cry, and for my sake remember Your covenant; and out of Your great love relent and cause me to be pitied by all who hold me captive. Psalm 106:44,45,46
I have never suffered at the hands of others to the extent the Apostle Paul did, but I pray that, like him, I could be sorrowful yet always rejoicing. 2 Corinthians 6:10
Father God, I thank You that Jesus Himself is my peace. Ephesians 2:14
May I learn to truly rely on You Lord, as I live day to day, with this depression. Isaiah 10:20
Sovereign Lord, I thank You for Your Word - it is perfect, reviving the soul. Your statutes are trustworthy, making wise the simple. Your precepts are right, giving joy to the heart. Your commands are radiant, giving light to the eyes. I cannot thank You enough for Your Word. Your directives are more precious than gold; sweeter than honey from the honeycomb. By them is Your servant warned; and in keeping them is great reward. May I meditate on Your Word in my heart, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:7-8,10-11,14
Dear Lord Jesus, You came and preached peace to those who were far away and peace to those who were near, may I know that through You I may have peace today, and that I may, at any time, have access to the Father. Ephesians 2:17-18
