CHURCH - For Persecuted
God of all grace, I lift to You my brothers and sisters throughout the world who are enduring all kinds of suffering. Today may they know joy as they remember that they have been called by You to Your eternal glory in Christ. Please restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish those in Your Church who are under persecution at this time. 1 Peter 5:9-10
Dear Holy Spirit, may those persecuted Christians who are isolated and feeling vulnerable and alone, remember that they are no longer separate from Christ, and excluded from the covenants of the promise. Help them to be glad that they are no longer without hope and without God in the world. Ephesians 2:12-13
Grant them the grace to remember Living Water, with You by their side they need not be spiritually thirsty again. John 4:10,14 Psalm 23:1-3
Father God, I lift to You (name), and ask that his spirit be refreshed at this time of trouble. 2 Corinthians 7:13
Today, may he know that he is loved by You and called to be a saint; please cause him to be aware of grace and peace from You our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 1:7
Dear Lord, I want to pray according to Your purposes regarding these ongoing persecutions, for You do not speak in secret from somewhere in a land of darkness, and I do not pray to a God Who cannot save. Romans 8:28-29 Isaiah 45:19-20
I want to practice the religion that You, God our Father, accepts as pure and faultless; which is to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep myself from being polluted by the world. James 1:27
Lord, please help me to be very careful how I live, not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15-16
Help us to commend and welcome fellow servants in the Lord in a way worthy of the saints, and to help them in whatever they may need from us, for they have been supportive of the ministry of the gospel. Romans 16:1-2
Jesus, You often withdrew to lonely places and prayed, please help me to pray more often for the persecuted church in my times of being alone. Luke 5:16
