RELATIONSHIPS - Addict’s Family
It can feel as though I am walled in with this issue, so that I cannot escape and I am weighed down with chains. Even when I call out or cry for help, it feels as though You have shut out my prayer. Yet I will call out again despite my feelings, for You have said, "Call to Me and I will answer you". Please help me to recognise and accept Your answer in whatever form it takes. Amen. Lamentations 3:7-8 Jeremiah 33:3
I want to speak the truth in love; and in all things grow up into Him Who is the Head, that is, Christ. From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. Please give me Your grace to lovingly build others up in the family. Ephesians 4:15-16
Lord, Your people came to You in their distress; they could barely whisper a prayer, at times I feel the same way, please help me. Isaiah 26:16
My strength and my song, may Your arm clothe me with strength throughout this day. Exodus 15:2 Isaiah 51:9
Dear Lord, I do not want to be distressed by those who ought to make me rejoice. 2 Corinthians 2:3
Loving Lord, how great is Your goodness, in the shelter of Your presence You hide me from the intrigues of men; in Your dwelling You keep me safe from accusing tongues. Psalm 31:19-20
Jesus, may I not lose heart. 2 Corinthians 4:16
Thank You LORD God, that even though (name) may have fallen, he will arise. Though he may sit darkness, You LORD will be his light …. You can bring him out into the light. Micah 7:8-9
Grant him Your grace so that any craving not become the death of him because his hands refuse to work. Proverbs 21:25
Lord, please take care of him on every side today. 2 Chronicles 32:22
