CHURCH - For Persecuted
Holy Spirit, please help them to put their hope in God, and continue night and day to pray and to ask God for help. 1 Timothy 5:5
Lord, please give them Your grace to be an example of patience in the face of suffering. James 5:10
Father, I truly thank You that in order to bring many sons to glory You saw it fitting to make Jesus, the Author of our salvation, perfect through suffering. May the persecuted church glorify You in the midst of their suffering. Hebrews 2:10
Lord Jesus, please provide water in the desert, bring streams in the wasteland; for You give drink to Your people so that they may proclaim Your praise. Isaiah 43:20-21, John 6:35
As they look to You, O LORD, give them food at the proper time. Psalm 104:27
Please satisfy their needs in a place of barrenness, and strengthen their frame. Isaiah 58:11, John 4:10,
Holy Spirit, please help the persecuted church to continue to love the truth, and not succumb to any powerful delusion that would make them believe a lie. 2 Thessalonians 2:10-11
Remind them that God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you". May they increasingly say with confidence, "You Lord are my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" Hebrews 13:5-6
Father God, may they increasingly look to You their Maker, and turn their eyes to You. Isaiah 17:7
Lord GOD, may Your persecuted people be glad and rejoice Lord in the truth: that when You create new heavens and a new earth the former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. Isaiah 65:17 Revelation 21:4
