SUFFERING - Bereavement
I cry out from anguish of heart and wail in brokenness of spirit. Isaiah 65:14
Lord, I am bereft and so alone, but You remain the same and Your years will never end. Psalm 102:28
Heavenly Father, I want Christ to dwell in my heart through faith above my heartache. Ephesians 3:17
Lord, please help me in this bereavement, especially when memories of disease, and incurable pain, come flooding back to me. Help me to not forget You God, my Saviour, and in those times to run to You Jesus the Rock, my fortress. Isaiah 17:11,10 Acts 9:31
Lord, may I be an example of patience in the face of suffering. James 5:10
Holy Spirit, please help me to dwell on the truth of Jesus’ words: “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.” John 14:27
Father God, I will build an altar to You in my life because You answered me in the day of my distress and have been with me wherever I have gone. Genesis 35:3
Lord, I turn to You and ask You to respond to my pleas, and heal me. Isaiah 19:22
This hardship I am suffering Lord has put me under great pressure, far beyond my ability to endure so that at times I even despair of life. At times in my heart I have felt the sentence of death. May I not rely on myself but on You God Who raises the dead. Please deliver me! 2 Corinthians 1:8-10
Dear Father God, presently I am in a dark place please enter in with Your truth, for You are the Father of the heavenly lights who does not change like shifting shadows, so I will put my trust in You. James 1:17 Psalm 115:11
