PERSECUTION - Persecution

Dear Father God, I ask Your forgiveness because I have allowed my condition to prevent me doing my duties to You. I have chosen not to do Your will in being joyful always, or praying continually, and giving thanks in all circumstances. Holy Spirit, please teach me how to be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12
Please LORD, take note of my distress and hear my cry, and for my sake remember Your covenant; and out of Your great love relent and cause me to be pitied by all who hold me captive. Psalm 106:44,45,46
Jesus, please help me not to be afraid of what I am about to suffer. You have already stated that the devil will put some in prison to test us and that we will suffer persecution. Help me to be faithful; even to the point of death, for then You will give me the crown of life! Revelation 2:10
Lord Jesus, in this matter I acknowledge You and ask You to put me on a path of peace, please. Proverbs 3:6,17
Jesus, I want to feel Your perfect love which will cast out this fear, which is to do with punishment, I thank You that You took a severe punishment on my behalf in the hours before and at Your crucifixion. 1 John 4:18
