CHURCH - For Pastor
Today, may his faith totally be in You God and not dead works. Hebrews 6:1
I thank You Father God that You have given him the grace to do the work You have called him to do, may he do it with care. 1 Corinthians 3:10
Father God, may our pastor increasingly look to You his Maker, and turn his eyes to You. Isaiah 17:7
Holy Spirit, as I contemplate the pastor's needs, please give me discernment in how to stir him up to love and good works. Whatever his heart struggles’ are, I pray that in them Jesus will be glorified. Hebrews 10:24 Matthew 15:19
Please help him to hold on to the truth Lord, that You establish peace for us; and all that we have accomplished You have done for us. Isaiah 26:12 1 Peter 1:2
Jesus, because the end of all things is near, I ask that You help him to be clear minded and self controlled so that he can pray. 1 Peter 4:7
Holy Spirit, please guide our pastor into all truth and disclose to him what is to come: so that he may be wise making the most of the time he has, and learn to engage in good deeds to meet pressing needs, that he may not be unfruitful. John 16:13 Ephesians 5:16 Titus 3:14
Please teach him how to endure hardship like a good soldier of Jesus Christ, and not to grumble. 2 Timothy 2:3 1 Corinthians 10:10
Holy Spirit, please help our pastor to recall to mind that when he is hard pressed on every side – he is not crushed. When he is becoming perplexed he does not have to despair. When he is persecuted, he is not abandoned by You. If he is struck down he is not destroyed. Grant him the grace to believe this and speak it out. 2 Corinthians 4:8-9,19,13,15
