PERSECUTION - Persecution
Lord Jesus, our Redeemer, I lift to You the area in which we all live. At times justice is far from us, and righteousness does not reach us. We look for light, but it seems all is darkness, for brightness, we walk in deep shadows. In our exasperation Lord, we find ourselves either growling like bears to those who will listen, or moaning mournfully like doves to ourselves. For we look for justice, but seem to find none; for deliverance, but it seems far away. Please forgive us Lord, for You see it all and are displeased. Lord there is no one adequate to intervene, come to those in this area who will repent of their sins. Our Redeemer, Lord Jesus, come! Isaiah 59,:9,11,15-16,20
I thank You Jesus Christ, that You will appear a second time to bring salvation to those who are waiting for You. Hebrews 9:28
Grant me the grace to fearlessly accept as a fact that everyone who wants to live a godly life, in Christ Jesus, will be persecuted. 2 Timothy 3:12

O LORD God, please teach me what is best for me and direct me in the way I should go. Help me to pay attention to Your commands so that my peace may be like a river. Isaiah 48:17-18
Holy Spirit, please help me to recall to my mind that when I am hard pressed on every side – I am not crushed. When I become perplexed I do not have to despair. When I am persecuted, I am not abandoned by You. If I am struck down I am not destroyed. May I believe this and speak it out. 2 Corinthians 4:8-9,19,13,15
Dear Father, despite my circumstances may I with Your grace, aim for perfection, listen; be of one mind with those who are for me, and live in peace with them. For then You, the God of love and peace, will be with me. 2 Corinthians 13:11
Holy Spirit, please teach me when to be on my guard and stand firm in the faith. Help me to be a (wo)man of courage, strong, and to do everything in love. John 14:26 1 Corinthians 16:13
