RELATIONSHIPS - Family
Father God, would You cause (name)’s spirit be refreshed by us all, and it be seen how happy he is. May we also be especially delighted to see how happy he is. 2 Corinthians 7:13
Lord Jesus, You came and preached peace to those who were far away and peace to those who were near, so I lift to You (name) and ask that they truly know that, through You Jesus, they may have peace today and have access to the Father. Ephesians 2:17-18
Dear LORD, grant me Your grace to increasingly show kindness and faithfulness to my family. Genesis 24:49 Isaiah 58:7
I pray that the faith I share with my family may deepen their understanding of every blessing that belongs to us in Christ. Philemon 1:6
Holy Spirit, please show me where I may be putting a stumbling block in my family's path. 2 Corinthians 6:3
May those who live in our family be taught by us, “Here is your God”. Isaiah 40:9
LORD, I want to be willing to approach, come forward, and help others in the family saying, “Be strong!” Ephesians 6:10 Isaiah 41:5-6
I would like to be able to say to my family that I have great confidence in them, that I take great pride in them and that I am greatly encouraged. Please teach us Lord how to come to this place. 2 Corinthians 7:4
Holy Spirit, please help me to recognise the devil's schemes in my family. Ephesians 6:11
Father, I am afraid that when our family meet up, I may not find them as I want them to be, and they may not find me, as they want me to be. I fear that because of our insecurities there may be quarrelling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, gossip, arrogance and even disorder. I am afraid that You God, will humble me before them and I will be grieved over our many sins. 2 Corinthians 12:20-21
