May I remember that they will have to give an account to You Who is ready to judge the living and the dead. Lord have mercy on them and enable me to always be prepared to give a reason for the hope I have in You, yet with gentleness and respect, so that those who speak maliciously against my good behaviour in Christ, may be ashamed of their slander. 1 Peter 4:2-5 1 Peter 3:15-16
