DISCIPLESHIP - Discipleship
In everything that I undertake to do in the service of You, may I seek You God and work wholeheartedly, and so prosper. 2 Chronicles 31:20-21
Please protect me from becoming arrogant and putting my hope in wealth, which is so uncertain. I want to put all my hope in You God, Who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. 1 Timothy 6:17
Help me Lord, to no longer live in the futility of my thinking about where I am going, or what I should be doing, being wise in my own eyes. I want to trust in You Lord with all my heart, please help me to not lean on my own understanding which is limited. I want to acknowledge You in all my ways from now on, for then You will make my paths straight as I fear You and shun evil. Ephesians 4:17, Proverbs 3:7,5-6,7
Dear Father, whenever I am feeling inadequate because I do not have the right educational qualifications, may I rejoice in that You have qualified me to share in the inheritance of the saints in light, and that is a great privilege and honour. Colossians 1:12
Sovereign Lord, You are my glory and strength and I ask Your favour in my endeavours. My protection, and my identity, comes from You. Psalm 89:17
Dear God, may I truly understand that it is improper for Your holy people to have even a hint of sexual immorality, or any kind of impurity. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place. Please give me grace to please You in these areas. Ephesians 5:3-4
Holy Spirit, please convict me when I begin to adapt in order to keep friendship with the world; because I do not want to become an enemy of God. James 4:4
Would You please teach me as one of Your people how to distinguish between the unclean and the clean on the screen, and to switch off without hesitation. Ezekiel 44:23
Holy Spirit, would You cause me to truly understand that Christ absolutely does not promote sin: so I cannot justify sinful behaviour for any reason. Galatians 2:17
I thank You Lord, that You brought me up out of 'Egypt and redeemed me from the land of slavery'. I want never again to be yoked with slavery to any sin. I am glad that old things have passed away and I am a new creation. Please show me how to glorify You today with my redeemed self. Micah 6:4 2 Corinthians 5:17
